About Lauren

I’m Lauren, a portrait artist based in Auckland, New Zealand. I pride myself on drawing realistic portraits of people. I specialise in 1st wedding anniversaries, children, couples, friends, and family from the photos you provide. From a young age, I was captivated by all things art, including painting, drawing, and attempting to make clothes out of paper. My parents recognized my creative side and encouraged me to attend after-school tutoring where my love for art grew.  Picking up a pencil in 2020 for the 1st time in over a decade, I began drawing for friends and family's birthdays. Quickly my hobby became my obsession. With a backlog of commissioned works in the pipeline, I decided to take my business to the next level. I am delighted when I receive messages and videos from clients with reactions to their personal gifted portraits and feel very blessed to be able to create everlasting artworks that bring joy to so many of you.
